Responsibilities: As a Buffet Steward, your responsibilities include maintaining the buffet area and ensuring a high standard of service. Key duties are:

  • Keeping the buffet area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service times.
  • Assisting guests with their buffet selections and providing information about the dishes and ingredients.
  • Monitoring food temperatures and ensuring that food safety standards are upheld.
  • Replenishing buffet items promptly and ensuring the presentation remains appealing.
  • Assisting with the setup and breakdown of the buffet area before and after meal periods.
  • Collaborating with kitchen staff to manage food supply and reduce waste.
  • Handling guest inquiries and special dietary requests with care and efficiency.

Contract Length: Typically 6-8 months

Working Hours: Approximately 10 hours per day, split into shifts covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service times.

Rest Periods: 2 months off after the completion of each contract.

General Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to perform job duties.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Two reference letters required.
  • Must be able to obtain a USA C1D visa.
